I have used quite a lot of video converters, both free and paid but this freeware surprised me. A free tool it is but packs lots of premium functions plus a super-intuitive interface. All the tools and functions work perfectly and you’ll not receive a message to upgrade to a pro version before accessing a particular function as seen in most other softwares.

The overall performance of this software is superb in all aspects and it’s a perfect video conversion tool for every PC owner who deals with videos often. You’ll definitely not pay a dime to use the Any Video Converter Freeware yet, you get to do a lot of things! This is unlike the iSkysoft Video Converter i reviewed sometimes ago.

How to use the AVC

Like I said earlier, there are various tasks you can perform using this freeware and below are the steps to explore them respectively. First things first, you have to download the software from HERE, then refer to the guides below to use perform various functions using the tool.

Converting Videos

First Step:

Launch the software and add your video(s) using any of the provided methods – via a disc or from your PC local storage. You can also drag and drop the videos right on the software interface, it’ll upload automatically.

Second Step:

Once your video is successfully uploaded, choose an output format/profile. There are tons of supported formats by this software, you can check above to see the list.

Here you can choose whether to convert your video into an audio file or any other format of your preference. To do this, click on the button indicated in the screenshot above and choose any profile of your choice.

Third Step:

This is the final step, once you have selected the output format/profile, go on and click on the “convert” button to start the conversion instantly.

After you have uploaded the video(s) to this software, click on the “add effects” icon; it is the last button you’ll see toward the end of your video. Check screenshot above for clarification.

Also, you can quickly set custom video resolutions, quality, take screenshots, fps, etc. via the options/tools available at the left pane.

After editing the video, click “ok” to return to the main software window, then, click on “convert“.

Burn DVD function

Yes, you can rip DVDs and CDs with this freeware and here’s how to that;

  1. Launch the software and toggle to the “Burn DVD” tab
  2. Add your video(s) from a source – local disk or disc
  3. Set an output profile, format your video, and change template
  4. Burn the video

Note: you can equally edit the video following the same method explained previously.

Downloading online videos

Normally, you can’t download videos from online streaming websites like YouTube, Vimeo, etc. because the developers do not provide such an option/permission. But, you can copy the video URL and paste it on some tools to get the video if you want it. This software provides you with an option for such activities. Follow the steps below to download online videos using the AVC freeware.

  2. Paste the video link you copied from the online site
  3. Click on “start download

Other functions of Any Video Converter Freeware
