Looking for a way to make good, professional posters and flyers for your conference, meetup, or activities alike? Maybe this online creator is just what you need to bring your imagination alive. With the various preset templates available and tons of good collections, you don’t need to have any design knowledge to craft professional posters for advert purposes using DesignCap. Here is the DesignCap review including a comprehensive overview of its features.

DesignCap Review

The company behind this online creator is PearlMountain, a renowned software developer. This web-based app is really useful for the purpose it is meant to serve. Also, you’re not going to download any installer package as this app is 100% accessible online.

DesignCap is one of those useful, user-friendly online designers/creators I have used and equally reviewed here on Dopitech. A wide variety of clipart images, stock photos, shapes, fonts, and backgrounds are available on this app.

Plus, the interface is very simple; just a plain workspace with all the options you need available at a left side-pane.

How to create a professional flyer or poster with DesignCap

DesignCap review

The process is very simple, I won’t be the one to make it look difficult, hahaha. Well, you’re not downloading any installer package for a start; simply visit the DesignCap official website and get your poster ready in few minutes.

Starting with a template

There are tons of templates readily available for you to choose from and create posters or flyers for different purposes. Although, the templates are fully customizable; probably, you may still replace every art or design on a template and redesign it to fit your preference.

Also, you can sort the templates using the category options. This means you can easily choose to view the available templates for different activities such as promotions, music shows/adverts, education, parties, festivals, etc.

To pick a template, simply click on the “create a free poster/flyer” button seen on the DesignCap homepage. Automatically, you’ll be redirected to the workspace where you’ll first meet with a set of awesome templates to start your design.

Adding photos to your design

Right on the workspace, look to the left side, and you’ll find the option (tab) labeled “photo“. Click on this option (tab). There are up to three different ways you could add photos to your poster or flyer; either you pick up a photo saved on your local storage, or import a Facebook image, or search and insert suitable (relative) photos from the internet.

Adding texts or custom backgrounds

In the same you’d add photos to your design, that’s how to add custom backgrounds or texts to your design. Already, the option is available on the left side pane, simply click on the one you want respectively.

Customizing your poster or flyer

Once you click on any component of your design, a unique toolbox pops-up at one corner so you can customize the component. The options you’ll see on the tool differ depending on the component you click on. This toolbox can be easily dismissed so it does not obstruct or disturb your work.

Also, there is an option available at the button area of the workspace window for you to undo or redo recent actions; however, this app supports the native keyboard shortcuts for undo and redo (CTRL + Z).

My verdict

I really found this app to be useful just like the DesignEvo online logo creator and Fotor online photo editor. It is quite simple to use without actually looking out for a guide. Also, the templates are useful; you can simply load one of them and change just a few things to achieve a good poster design for your activity. DesignCap is one of those intuitive web-based apps out there you shouldn’t ignore because of its usefulness.

Pricing

Surprisingly, you won’t pay a dime to use this app. Even when downloading your designs, you do not need to subscribe to a package in order to get the premium quality version of your work. DesignCap online poster and flyer creator is completely free to use and is not restricted to certain system requirements.

Conclusion:

This is my honest DesignCap review, the application is really worthy and since you won’t be paying any fee to explore all of its features, it is something you really need to check out.
