This is definitely the best iTunes alternative you can get at this moment. The features are great and they all work perfectly with no exception. Unlike some other softwares that pack lots of inactive features even on the pro version. Also, the iOtransfer 3 software is very intuitve, you may not need a guide or tutorial to use the software (Although I provided a How-To guide below).

How to use the IOTransfer 3 iPhone Manager

Firstly, you’d have to download the software from the company’s official website, or simply follow this link for a direct download – Download iOTransfer 3 iPhone Manager.

After downloading the software, run the offline installer package and follow the onscreen prompts to properly install it on your PC.

#1. Launch the software

When your installation is complete, launch the software and connect your iOS device via USB. Authorize your PC to access your iOS device data. To do this, simply tap “Trust” on the pop-up dialogue box that appeared on the connected iOS device,

Now, enter the password you used to protect your iPhone/iOS device and wait for a few seconds for this software to read the device.

#2. Start managing your iPhone, iPod, iPad

Once after this tool reads the connected iOS device, you can start managing the files/directories in it. this means you can copy, delete, preview, move and perform other actions on any file you select. Right on the Home window, you’ll see how many files that are on your iOS device categorized into sections; Music, Photos, Videos, and Contacts.

You can directly transfer any file from the iOS device to your Windows PC right from here; simply click on the “Transfer to PC” button and select the file you wish to transfer.

When you click on the “Details” option on the iPhone sketch, you get to see a run-down of how your device storage is being shared by your apps, media files, etc. Here, you’ll also see your iOS device name, serial and build number, OS version, product type and the model number;

#3. Explore your iOS device

click on the manage option to access all the files on your iOS and perform any of the supported actions on this tool.

Here, you can preview the images on your connected iPhone, uninstall an app from your iPhone, export the podcasts and voice memos on your iPhone to the computer, and also delete unwanted files, apps or folders.

The options you need to manage your files are available at the top of the software window. You can also place your mouse on any item/file and right-click to view more available options.

The iOTransfer 3 lets you clean up junk files and caches that are occupying reasonable spaces on your iPhone. Click on the “Clean” option and further click on the “Scan My iPhone” button.

This tool will analyze your iPhone and show you the number of junk files/cache to be deleted which you’d have to click on the “Clean my iPhone” button before it would trigger the deleting process to keep your device free and save you some space for reasonable file/documents.

#4. Video downloader and converter

Honestly, I’ve not seen a smartphone manager/assistant with this function. Although the AnyTrans Android Assistant comes with a video downloader option it didn’t include a video converter. This probably makes this software the best for me at the moment until i come across another that would impress me more.

With the IOTransfer 3 video downloader/converter feature, you’ll be able to download videos from online streaming websites like YouTube, FaceBook, Vimeo, VidMate, etc and also convert them immediately.

To download online videos using this software; simply video URL from the hosted site and paste into the provided space. Click on the “download location” option to set a storage location for your downloaded and converted videos. Now click on download button and wait for this tool to analyze your video link and automatically trigger the download process.

The downloaded video will be saved on the folder you chose for it.

Converting a video

This tool comes with a simple video converter that lets you convert video files from one format to the other. Still on the “video” tab?

• click on the converter option, further click on the “add files” button to add your video/audio files.
• Select the new format you wish to convert the video/audio to.
• Supported formats include; MP3, MP4, WAV, AC3, M4a, FLAC, ACC, OGG, FLV, AVI, MPG, MVW, VOB, HEVC, 3GP, 3G2, etc.
• Now click on the “Convert” button.

Note: You can directly transfer the converted/downloaded files to your iOS device by tick the checkbox available on the software window.

#5. Air-Trans feature

If you do not wish to use a USB cable to connect your iPhone to your PC, you can stick to this option. This feature lets you connect and share files between your iPhone and Windows PC. The steps below explain how you can use this feature.

1. Ensure iOTransfer 3 is installed both on the mobile device and the PC
2. Launch the IOTransfer 3 PC software and click on the “Air-Trans” tab
3. Also launch the IOTransfer mobile app installed on the iPhone, iPod, or any other iOS device
4. Allow the software to scan and search for the iOS device
5. Click on the iPhone name once the software detects it
6. Start transferring your files wirelessly

The version we used for this review is only available for Windows PC users and it retails at $24.99. We do not recommend the free/trial version of this utility tool as it is limited to lots of goodies.

What More?
