iPhone 12 release date is postponed, but we’re not sad

Typically, September is the month to expect a new iPhone. But with the incessant spread of the ongoing pandemic – Covid19, Apple may shift the iPhone 12 launch date by two months. A report from Nikkei Asian hints that the 5G iPhone 12 smartphone would be delayed by one to two months. That’s not so bad; maybe Apple is giving us more time to save for this new device.

iPhone 12 Launch Date Isn’t September

After reading the many leaks and rumors regarding Apple’s first 5G device – iPhone 12, our expectations are really high; hopefully, Apple won’t get to downplay those expectations.

iPhone 12 launch

Another report from Wall Street Journal validates the shift in iPhone 12 launch date. Sadly, the shift is primarily because of the Coronavirus pandemic. Thus, we should be expecting the next iPhone, which would support 5G network to launch in October or November 2020.

Apple is going to release up to four different models of it’s new iPhone. The first two models will be cheaper models, which would feature 5.4 and 6.1-inch screens. On the other hand, two high-end variants will be available, and they’d pack 6.1/6.7-inch screens. Nevertheless, all these variants will come with OLED display. Some techs would definitely change on the high-end variants. Our expectations are high as we await iPhone 12 series in the Q4 of 2020.

Not to forget, all variants of iPhone will likely feature a better wide-angle sensor; probably, 7P. It won’t be surprising to learn that Sharp and O-film Tech are the brains behind iPhone 12’s camera modules.

Whatever happens, it would be disappointing for Apple not to release iPhone 12 this year. Nokia seems to be working on a monster Android device – Maze Pro Lite. Stay updated with more tech news from our blog. Visit the homepage for more exciting stuff! Enjoy your day.
