Note: you must have the Google messages Android App installed on your device.

Once the app is present on your device – Launch the app and click on the more options menu (the three dots at the top right side), then select “Messages for web”. Now you can scan the QR code and start sending your messages directly from your PC.

Also, Google has used this opportunity to inform Android Messages users of some new features that have been added to the app. Such as a GIF search button, in-line link previews, smart replies (available for everyone that uses English), and also a copy button attached to any notification containing a code just like in Truecaller app.
